Oil leakage is an important indicator for judging the performance of the crane reducer. The common causes of oil leakage in the crane reducer are as follows:
Oil leakage caused by internal and external pressure differenceDuring the operation of the crane reducer, due to the heat of gear meshing and the influence of the working environment, the reducer used in the crane is not ventilated well and the fan is blocked. Once the gas in the reducer cannot be discharged normally, the temperature in the reducer will rise rapidly. When the volume in the decompression box is constant, the pressure in the box will increase, forming a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the box. Driven by the gear, the lubricating oil is thrown into the inner wall of the box, and the lubricating oil in the crane reducer escapes from the space under the action of pressure.
Structural design problems of the reducer(1) Confirm that the thickness of the hole cover is insufficient or the flatness does not meet the standard. After tightening the bolts, confirm that there is a gap between the surface of the hole cover gasket and the shell, and the lubricant leaks out of the space.
(2) The manufacturing process of the crane reducer is unreasonable, and there is no relevant heat treatment to eliminate internal stress, such as annealing or aging treatment. In this way, when the crane reducer is used, the body will be deformed, causing the reducer to lose oil.
(3) There is no oil return groove design in the
crane reducer. A large amount of lubricant accumulates in the joint between the shaft seal and the end cover. There is no oil return groove design. Under high pressure, the lubricant escapes from the space:
(4) Lack of shaft seal design. The shaft seal paper can prevent external dust and debris from entering the gearbox on the one hand, and prevent lubricant leakage on the other hand. When the shaft rotates at high speed, if dust and debris enter the gearbox, the lubricating cleaner will be damaged, the sealing ring will be severely worn, and the lubricant will escape from the worn sealing ring.
