A crane hook is a kind of lifting device suspended on the wire rope of the lifting mechanism with the help of pulleys and other components. It is often used as a connection between the lifting mechanism of the crane and the items to be transported. It is widely used in factories, mines, petroleum, chemicals, ship docks and other industries.
Common classification: There are many types of hooks, which can be divided into two categories according to their shapes: single hooks and double hooks. The lifting capacity ranges from 5 tons to 150 tons. Specifically, a single hook is used for lifting below 80 tons, and a double hook with symmetrical force is used when the lifting capacity is large.
Structural composition: The crane hook group is generally composed of hooks, hook beams, thrust bearings, hook nuts, pulleys, pulley shafts, pull plates and pulley covers.
Processing technology: It is made through hot forging, welding, heat treatment, quenching and tempering, with beautiful appearance and reliable quality.
Crane hook precautions:
1. New hooks should be subjected to load tests.
2. Check the hook connection parts regularly to confirm whether the connection is reliable and whether the lubrication is good.
3. The hook must not be overloaded.
4. If the hook has cracks on the surface, thread corrosion, dangerous sections or neck deformation, it should be replaced as soon as possible.
5. When the dangerous section area of the hook is worn by 10% and the opening degree increases by 15% compared to the original size; when the hook body is twisted and deformed by more than 10°, it should be scrapped.
